Utah’s three-game winning streak is tied for the longest in the NBA, but to push it to four, the Jazz will have to do so without leading scorer Donovan Mitchell (back). He is out for at least the next two games but his absence gives other Jazz players opportunities to step up. One player who has shown the ability to do so is reigning Sixth Man of the Year Jordan Clarkson, who scored a season-high of 30 points in the only other game Mitchell missed this year. Clarkson will be in line for more playing time tonight vs. the Spurs at 8:30 p.m. ET, and he could be an undervalued option for NBA DFS lineups.

Top NBA DFS picks for Monday, December 27
One of McClure’s top Monday NBA DFS picks is Nets guard James Harden at $11,200 on DraftKings and $11,000 on FanDuel. The nine-time All-Star put on a show on Christmas Day as he posted a triple-double with 36 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. It was the fifth triple-double of the season for Harden but his first 30-point triple-double.
Harden took advantage of the Nets being shorthanded with several players out due to health and safety protocols, and that will also be the case on Monday. Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are among seven Nets unavailable so Harden should operate as both the primary scorer and playmaker for Brooklyn. He will also benefit from not being harassed on the offensive end by Paul George, who ranks second in the NBA with 2.0 steals per game but is out with an elbow injury.
Another part of McClure’s optimal NBA DFS strategy includes rostering Hornets guard LaMelo Ball ($9,500 on DraftKings and $9,400 on FanDuel). After missing two weeks due to health and safety protocols, Ball has averaged 18.3 points, 6.8 assists, 6.3 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game in the four contests since his return.
Ball gets a great matchup on Monday vs. a Rockets team he torched when he last saw them in November. Ball had 19 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds for his third career triple-double and the Rockets haven’t gotten any better on defense. Houston is allowing the most NBA DFS points to opposing point guards on FanDuel and the second-most on DraftKings. Expect Ball to exploit a vulnerable Rockets defense that has its starting backcourt in Kevin Porter Jr. and Jalen Green both questionable to suit up.
