Regular Season Records: Oregon 20-14; Texas A&M 24-12
What to Know
The Texas A&M Aggies and the Oregon Ducks are set to clash at noon ET March 19 at Reed Arena in the second round of the NIT. A&M is out to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
A&M earned some postseason bragging rights after a successful outing on Tuesday. They had enough points to win and then some against the Alcorn State Braves, taking their game 74-62. Guard Tyrece Radford was the offensive standout of the matchup for A&M, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds.
Meanwhile, the Ducks didn’t have too much trouble with the Utah State Aggies on the road on Tuesday as they won 83-72. Oregon’s success was spearheaded by the efforts of guard De’Vion Harmon, who had 19 points, and forward Eric Williams Jr., who had nine points and five assists. Harmon hadn’t helped his team much against the Colorado Buffaloes last week, so this was a nice turnaround for him.
With both teams having displayed their playoff mettle, spectators can expect a high-quality contest. Check back with CBS Sports for more details during and after the game.
