2024 WWE Bad Blood card, date, matches, rumors, match card, predictions, start time, location

Tensions are high between WWE superstars so it’s only appropriate they settle it at Bad Blood. The birthplace of the Hell in a Cell match returns on the 27th anniversary of the first “Badd Blood: In Your House” event on Oct. 5.

The pay-per-view has been dormant for 20 years but returns at the height of several deeply personal feuds. CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre, Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest vs. Finn Balor are all confirmed for the event in Atlanta. All four Bad Blood events — including the inaugural “In Your House” supercard show — have featured a Hell in a Cell match. This year’s honors go to Punk and McIntyre, who will follow legendary matches like Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker and Michaels vs. Triple H.

Take a look below at the confirmed matches for WWE SummerSlam and take a glance at the crystal ball of what may come. The event streams live on Peacock on Oct. 5 with the main card starting at 8 p.m. ET.

2024 WWE Bad Blood matches

CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre (Hell in a Cell): McIntyre won their SummerSlam match and Punk responded by winning their strap match at Bash in Berlin. Obviously, the issues between the two were going to continue and it only took days before McIntyre unleashed an attack that sent Punk from the arena in an ambulance. As a result, Adam Pearce announced that McIntyre and Punk would meet inside Hell in a Cell for what could be the blowoff of the storyline.

Women’s World Championship — Liv Morgan (c) vs. Rhea Ripley: Ripley has been on the hunt for revenge on Morgan since Morgan injured her earlier in the year. That injury forced Ripley to vacate the title, allowing Morgan to scoop it up not long after. Morgan has since taken Dominik Mysterio and the entire Judgment Day away from Ripley while also executing sneak attack after sneak attack. Ripley finally gets another crack at Morgan in a singles match at Bad Blood, though it’s almost a certainty she’ll be battling against Judgment Day members as well as Morgan.

Damian Priest vs. Finn Balor: Like Ripley, Priest has been looking for revenge on the Judgment Day members that turned on him. The primary focus for Priest has been getting his hands on Balor. He finally gets that chance at Bad Blood, but Balor has already warned Priest to not forget the “Judgment Day playbook,” which almost always involves outside interference.

2024 WWE Bad Blood predictions

World Heavyweight Championship — Gunther (c) vs. Sami Zayn: Zayn was the man who ended Gunther’s record-setting 666-day run as intercontinental champion. He has been pursuing another match with Gunther, this time for the world heavyweight championship. Gunther has flat out refused, even when confronted by both Zayn and Bret Hart, but it seems obvious the match will happen sooner or later.

WWE Women’s Championship — Nia Jax (c) vs. Bayley: Jax and Bayley’s feud has persevered well past SummerSlam. Bayley’s ongoing issues with Jax and Tiffany Stratton have escalated, making a rematch at Bad Blood a believable next chapter for the WWE women’s title.

Undisputed WWE Championship — Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Randy Orton: The direction of the undisputed WWE championship is unclear. Rhodes defends the title against Solo Sikoa on SmackDown’s season premiere, making a trilogy at Bad Blood unlikely. There’s more to the Rhodes vs. Kevin Owens rivalry but I’m not convinced either superstar will turn heel in the coming weeks. A feud destined to happen is Rhodes vs. his Legacy mentor. With no firm plans, Rhodes vs. Orton at Bad Blood sounds like money
