Colorado quarterback Sheduer Sanders connected with wide receiver LaJohntay Wester for a game-tying touchdown to send the Big 12 matchup into overtime on Saturday. The catch came as time expired in regulation.
The Buffaloes had a first down with 18 seconds remaining in the game with three shots at the end zone. On the second attempt, receiver Will Sheppard dropped a potential game-tying touchdown while wide open. However, on the next play, Sanders hit Wester and the touchdown stood.
The touchdown pass was the second of the day for Sanders and fourth catch for Wester.
