Games to watch this week on Paramount+

Thursday, Sept. 16

  • Denmark vs. Malta, 12 p.m. ET (Paramount+): Denmark features one of the game’s most prolific scorers with Chelsea’s Pernille Harder. A recent ACL injury to veteran Nadia Nadim means the team will be without their most experienced player, but head coach Lars Sondergaard has called in Olivia Moller Holdt in her place.
  • Norway vs. Armenia, 12 p.m. ET (Paramount+): Norway enters qualifiers after losing three consecutive friendlies against Germany, Sweden, and the Netherlands. The team has talented figures on the roster, including FC Barcelona’s Caroline Graham Hensen and Ingrid Engen. Chelsea FC’s Guro Reiten is another option for the team in the midfield as well.

Friday, Sept. 17

  • England vs. North Macedonia, 2 p.m. ET (Paramount+): England heads into UEFA qualifiers after several of their players competed in the Tokyo Summer Games with team Great Britain and were eliminated in quarterfinals. The 25 player roster named for the current UEFA qualifiers is the first for new head coach and former Netherlands manager Sarina Wiegman. The roster features a mix of experience and youth, with NWSL standouts Rachel Daly and Ebony Salmon in the mix.

Saturday, Sept. 18

  • Germany vs. Bulgaria, 10 a.m. ET (Paramount+): Germany enter UEFA qualifiers off a pair of June friendlies where the team went winless in a loss against France and a scoreless draw against Chile. The roster has a wide range of top tier talent, with Olympique Lyon and OL Reign midfielder Dzsenifer Marozsan and Bayern Munich forward Lea Schuller.
