Four-star small forward Aidan Shaw, the No. 53 overall player in the 2022 class, is set to make his long-awaited college commitment Friday live on CBS Sports HQ. Shaw is choosing between a final group of Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri and Oklahoma State.
The 6-foot-8 prospect from Kansas will announce his decision at 11:30 a.m. ET.
No school has separated itself thus far from the pack as the clear frontrunner — his crystal ball is cloudy — but Missouri is considered in the industry to be among the best-positioned to land his services on Friday. The Tigers were one of his first offers last fall and landed one of his official visits this summer.
It still feels like a toss-up leading into his big decision, though, and it’s an impactful one, too. Whichever schools wins out will be rewarded with the services of a long combo forward with NBA potential.
