Considering their sizeable disadvantage in the spread, the Florida A&M Rattlers can expect to have a real challenge on their hands Saturday. They will square off against the South Florida Bulls on the road at 7 p.m. ET at Raymond James Stadium. The Rattlers will be seeking to avenge the 51-3 loss they suffered the last time these two teams played Sept. 5 of 2015.
It was all tied up 7-7 at the half for Florida A&M and the Fort Valley State Wildcats last week, but Florida A&M stepped up in the second half for a cozy 34-7 victory.
Meanwhile, the Bulls found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 42-20 punch to the gut against the Florida Gators last week. South Florida was in a tough position by the half, with the score already sitting at 35-3. Their only offensive touchdowns (two) came from RB Jaren Mangham.
Florida A&M’s win lifted them to 1-1 while South Florida’s defeat dropped them down to 0-2. We’ll see if Florida A&M can repeat their recent success or if South Florida bounces back and reverse their fortune.
