2023 college football Championship Week spread picks, betting odds, trends: Top Vegas expert reveals picks

No. 14 Louisville is not going to make the College Football Playoff, but it has a chance to play spoiler when it faces No. 4 Florida State in the ACC Championship Game on Saturday night during the Championship Week college football schedule. The Seminoles need a win to keep their playoff hopes alive, and they will have to do so without starting quarterback Jordan Travis, who is sidelined for the remainder of the season due to an injury. Louisville had its four-game winning streak snapped in a loss to Kentucky last week, but it has already beaten a pair of ranked teams this season. The Cardinals are 2.5-point underdogs against the Seminoles in the latest Championship Week college football odds from SportsLine consensus.

One of the other top championship games in Week 14 will take place in Atlanta when top-ranked Georgia squares off against No. 8 Alabama in the SEC Championship at 4 p.m. ET on CBS. The Bulldogs are 5.5-point favorites in the Championship Week college football spreads as they try to stay on track for their third straight national title. Top college football predictions for Championship Week

One of the top college football picks Marshall is recommending for Week 14: He is backing No. 2 Michigan (-23) to cover against No. 16 Iowa in the 2023 Big Ten Championship Game. That matchup is at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday in Indianapolis.

Michigan is aiming for a third straight conference title after beating Ohio State in a massive rivalry game last week. The Wolverines are unbeaten in 24 consecutive games against Big Ten opponents, and they enter Saturday’s showdown with the No. 1 scoring defense in the country. They are giving up just 10.3 points per game, which does not bode well for an Iowa offense that has averaged less than 15 points per game over its last six contests.

The Hawkeyes have managed just three total first-quarter points in their last five games, and Michigan has a top-15 offense nationally. Wolverines running back Blake Corum has racked up nine rushing touchdowns over his past four games, and he had 133 yards and a touchdown against Iowa last year. He will help Michigan consistently move the ball throughout the evening, but the high volume of rushing combined with Iowa’s inept offense will keep this game Under the low total. See which other picks to make here
