The Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks were expected to take an ‘L’ in this one, but so far it isn’t playing out to script. The Troy Trojans are staying on the road Saturday to face off against the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks at 8 p.m. ET Sept. 25 at JPS Field at James L. Malone Stadium. The Trojans will be hoping to build upon the 35-27 win they picked up against Louisiana-Monroe when they previously played in September of 2018.
Troy had a touchdown and change to spare in a 21-9 win over the Southern Miss Golden Eagles last week.
Meanwhile, the Warhawks didn’t have too much breathing room in their game with the Jackson State Tigers last week, but they still walked away with a 12-7 victory.
Troy is the favorite in this one, with an expected 23.5-point margin of victory. They have been consistent moneymakers against the spread when favored (2-0), so they might be worth a quick bet.
