The Kentucky Wildcats are 5-1 against the South Carolina Gamecocks since September of 2015, and they’ll have a chance to extend that success Saturday. The Wildcats and USC will face off in an SEC battle at 7 p.m. ET at Williams-Brice Stadium. UK won’t have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy a 4.5-point advantage in the spread.
Even if it wasn’t a dominant performance, UK beat the Chattanooga Mocs 28-23 last week. No one had a standout game offensively for UK, but they got scores from a handful of players including DB Tyrell Ajian, WR Isaiah Epps, and WR Josh Ali.
Meanwhile, the oddsmakers predicted a rough contest for USC last week, and boy were they were right. Their bruising 40-13 defeat to the Georgia Bulldogs might stick with them for a while. USC’s defense has more to brag about, as they they enter the game having picked the ball off six times, good for fourth in the nation. Their secondary is poised to pounce all over UK’s passing game.
