Who’s Playing

Pittsburgh @ Green Bay

Current Records: Pittsburgh 1-2; Green Bay 2-1

What to Know

The Pittsburgh Steelers have enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they must head out on the road. They will take on the Green Bay Packers at 4:25 p.m. ET next Sunday at Lambeau Field. Green Bay should still be riding high after a win, while the Steelers will be looking to regain their footing.

Pittsburgh came up short against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, falling 24-10. One thing holding Pittsburgh back was the mediocre play of QB Ben Roethlisberger, who did not have his best game: despite one touchdown, he threw two interceptions with only 5.48 yards per passing attempt.

Meanwhile, Green Bay came out on top in a nail-biter against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, sneaking past 30-28. Green Bay can attribute much of their success to WR Davante Adams, who caught 12 passes for one TD and 132 yards, and QB Aaron Rodgers, who passed for two TDs and 261 yards on 33 attempts. Rodgers ended up with a passer rating of 156.10.

Special teams collected 12 points for the Packers. K Mason Crosby booted in three field goals, the longest a 54-yarder in the first quarter, which ultimately accounted for the difference in the contest.

The Steelers are now 1-2 while Green Bay sits at a mirror-image 2-1. A pair of defensive numbers to keep in mind before kickoff: Pittsburgh has yet to allow a single rushing touchdown. Less enviably, Green Bay is third worst in the NFL in passing touchdowns allowed, with nine on the season.
