Georgia led the way with 15 representatives on the 2024 Preseason Coaches All-SEC Football Teams, which were announced by the conference Thursday. The Bulldogs produced five first-team honorees, including quarterback Carson Beck, who enters the season among the favorites to win the Heisman Trophy.

While still a strong haul, UGA’s tally of first-team representatives is down from 10 last season. With Oklahoma and Texas now part of the SEC, the coaches had two more talent-rich rosters to pull from this season when making their decisions. While Alabama finished second with 14 total honorees, Texas was third with 10.

Oklahoma placed just two honorees across the three teams, but each of them received first-team designation as the honors continued to roll in for linebacker Danny Stutsman and defensive back Billy Bowman Jr. The SEC is particularly strong at quarterback entering the 2024 season. In addition to Beck, Quinn Ewers of Texas and Jalen Milroe of Alabama were the second and third-team quarterbacks, respectively.

Their inclusions left productive veterans such as Jaxson Dart of Ole Miss and Brady Cook of Missouri on the outside looking in at the preseason honors.

Here is a complete look at the three Coaches All-SEC teams.
