It appears the Seattle Seahawks may have to finish out their “Thursday Night Football” matchup against the Los Angeles Rams without star quarterback Russell Wilson. In the third quarter, Wilson hurt the middle finger on his throwing hand after hitting the outstretched arm of defensive lineman Aaron Donald while attempting a throw.

Wilson immediately asked for assistance from the training staff as he made his way off the field. He attempted to return to the game on the Seahawks’ next possession, but completed one pass and was sacked once as Seattle again went three-and-out. On the Seahawks’ next drive, Geno Smith took over at quarterback.

Wilson is officially listed as questionable to return. Check out what happened on the play where he was injured, here:

Down nine points in the fourth quarter, it looked like all was lost for Seattle. However, Smith came in and led a 98-yard touchdown drive which cut the deficit to 16-14. The Rams responded with a 2-yard Sony Michel TD run for a 23-14 lead.
