Giants rookie receiver Kadarius Toney was ejected after throwing a punch at Cowboys safety Damontae Kazee during Sunday’s game against the Cowboys. Toney was ejected with the Giants trailing the Cowboys 34-13 with just over six minutes remaining.

Toney had been enjoying a career game prior to the incident. He had 189 yards on 10 catches that included catches of 38, 28 and 35 yards on the Giants’ first three scoring drives. He caught a 16-yard pass against Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs two plays before his ejection. The 20th overall pick in the 2021 draft, Toney caught 10 of 14 targets for 92 yards in the Giants’ first three games.

Toney was one of four notable Giants offensive players who did not finish Sunday’s game. Daniel Jones was carted off with a concussion after sustaining a helmet-to-helmet hit in the first half. Running back Saquon Barkley left the game with an ankle injury. Receiver Kenny Golladay left with a knee injury.
