CBS Sports Network has another full lineup of action in store with Week 8 of the college football season upon us. In all, there are seven games spanning three days on the network as conference title races continue heating up and the stakes for everyone increase. Among those in action will be two of the remaining 11 undefeated FBS teams, as No. 16 Wake Forest goes to Army on Saturday and No. 22 San Diego State plays at Air Force.

But the action got underway Thursday, when FAU defeated host Charlotte 38-9 in a battle of Conference USA East contenders. Later in the evening, a pair of Mountain West teams in need of wins square off as San Jose State travels to UNLV. Two more games comes Friday with Middle Tennessee playing at UConn and Colorado State traveling to Utah State.

Finally, Saturday brings a tripleheader beginning at noon ET with the Demon Deacons trying to avoid their first loss of the season in a tricky spot against Army. Then, Western Michigan travels to Toledo in the afternoon before the Aztecs put their unbeaten mark on the line at Air Force.

Here is the full rundown of all the Week 8 action on CBS Sports Network with all times Eastern.

Storylines: Army snapped a nine-game losing streak against Wake Forest with a victory over the Demon Deacons in 2016. Now the Black Knights will seek to make it two in a row against their ACC foe in a battle of contrasting styles. Unbeaten Wake Forest airs it out, averaging 270.5 pass yards per game. Army does nearly all its work on the ground and should challenge a Wake Forest defense that gives up 173.8 rushing yards per game.

It was one of the more remarkable plays of the 2020 football season, and it was the second year in a row these teams played down to the wire. Toledo is just 3-4, but the Rockets’ last two losses came by a combined five points, and they are capable of playing 5-2 Western Michigan close again.
