Seahawks vs. Saints: How to watch NFL online, TV channel, live stream info, game time

Through 1 Quarter

The Seattle Seahawks were expected to take an ‘L’ in this one, but so far it isn’t playing out to script. They have emerged as the frontrunner after one quarter and are ahead of the New Orleans Saints 7 to nothing.

WR DK Metcalf has led the way so far for Seattle, as he has caught one pass for one TD and 84 yards. One of the most thrilling moments was Metcalf’s 84-yard TD reception down the right side of the field in the first quarter.

The Seahawks’ lead is the biggest they have had this year going into the second quarter.

Who’s Playing

New Orleans @ Seattle

Current Records: New Orleans 3-2; Seattle 2-4

What to Know

The New Orleans Saints have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will hit the road for the second straight week as they head to Lumen Field at 8:15 p.m. ET Monday. They have a defense that allows only 18.2 points per game, so the Seattle Seahawks’ offense will have their work cut out for them.

The Saints were able to grind out a solid win over the Washington Football Team two weeks ago, winning 33-22. New Orleans relied on the efforts of RB Alvin Kamara, who punched in one rushing touchdown in addition to snatching one receiving TD, and QB Jameis Winston, who passed for four TDs and 279 yards on 30 attempts. Winston’s 72-yard touchdown toss up the middle to WR Deonte Harris in the first quarter made for one of the most memorable moments of the afternoon.

Meanwhile, the Seahawks fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers last week but wound up with a less-than-desirable result, falling 23-20. Despite the defeat, Seattle got a solid performance out of RB Alex Collins, who rushed for one TD and 101 yards on 20 carries. That nimble footwork stands out as the first time Collins has hit the 100-yard rushing mark this season.

The Saints are the favorite in this one, with an expected 4-point margin of victory. Those who got lucky with them against the spread two weeks ago might want to hold off on placing bets this time since the squad has yet to string together back-to-back wins against the spread.

New Orleans’ victory brought them up to 3-2 while the Seahawks’ loss pulled them down to 2-4. New Orleans is 0-2 after wins this season, and Seattle is 1-2 after losses.
