The Atlanta Braves have made a roster substitution prior to Game 6 of the World Series on Tuesday night. Utility man Ehire Adrianza has been placed on the paternity list, MLB announced. Fellow utility man Johan Camargo was added to the roster in his place and will be available in Game 6.

Unlike the injured list, players on the paternity list can be activated and put back on the roster in the middle of a series. Players who are removed from the roster due to injury can only be activated between series. With the paternity list, Adrianza could be activated for a potential Game 7 on Wednesday.

Adrianza, 32, has not started a single game this postseason, though he has pinch-hit 10 times in 15 games, and is 1 for 10 with a double. He hit .247/.327/.401 with five home runs in 209 plate appearances during the regular season, and went 16 for 64 (.250) with three home runs as Atlanta’s No. 1 pinch-hitting option.

Because Game 6 will be played in Houston, the Braves will have the DH available, and were unlikely to need Adrianza to pinch-hit at some point. That said, he would have been available as a pinch-runner or defensive replacement just about anywhere on the field. That duty falls on Camargo now.

The Braves hold a 3-2 series lead going into Game 6. One more win will clinch the franchise’s first World Series championship since 1995. Here’s how you can watch Game 6.
