Through 3 Quarters
The point spread is against the Philadelphia 76ers, but thus far the points are on their side. After three quarters it’s looking more and more like their high-powered offense is just too much for the Chicago Bulls as Philadelphia lead 87-77.
The Sixers have been relying on center Joel Embiid, who has posted a double-double on 22 points and 14 boards along with two blocks, and shooting guard Shake Milton, who has 13 points and six assists in addition to six rebounds. Small forward DeMar DeRozan has led the way so far for Chicago, as he has 16 points.

What to Know
The Philadelphia 76ers’ road trip will continue as they head to United Center at 8 p.m. ET Saturday to face off against the Chicago Bulls. The Sixers should still be riding high after a victory, while Chicago will be looking to right the ship.
The 76ers didn’t have too much trouble with the Detroit Pistons on the road on Thursday as they won 109-98. Point guard Tyrese Maxey was the offensive standout of the contest for Philadelphia, picking up 20 points and five assists.
Chicago is out to make up for these teams’ matchup on Wednesday. They were within striking distance but couldn’t close the gap as they fell 103-98 to Philadelphia. The losing side was boosted by small forward DeMar DeRozan, who dropped a double-double on 37 points and ten rebounds. Deebo’s night made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 32 points.
Philadelphia is expected to lose this next one by 4. They are currently four-for-four against the spread in their most recent games, however, a trend bettors might want to take into account.
The 76ers’ win brought them up to 7-2 while the Bulls’ loss pulled them down to 6-2. Two numbers to keep in mind before tip-off: The Sixers enter the game with 6.11 blocked shots per game on average, good for second best in the league. Chicago is not quite as good, but they are no chumps, either: they come into the game boasting the fourth most blocked shots per game in the league at six. Points in the paint might be hard to come by.
