2022 NFL Mock Draft: Lions surprise with George Karlaftis at No. 1, first round sees receivers galore

A few weeks ago I wrote that Oregon’s Kayvon Thibodeaux is close to locking in being the No. 1 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. Well, what would it look like if the Ducks star doesn’t get picked first? 

I recently dove deep into the film of George Karlaftis, the Purdue game-wrecker, and he has many legitimate No. 1 overall selection traits too. That’s what you’ll see here: Karlaftis as the top pick.
