UNC strolled past the Loyola-Maryland Greyhounds with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the contest 83-67. Four players on the Tar Heels scored in the double digits: Caleb Love (22), Brady Manek (20), Dawson Garcia (12), and Kerwin Walton (11). Manek’s performance was a bit of a surprise, as the Oklahoma transfer averaged just 10.8 points per game last season with the Sooners.
The Tar Heels made some changes in the backcourt from last season, and moved Love to more of an off-ball role and slid R.J. Davis over to point guard.
