The Cleveland Cavaliers are favored to win for the first time this season. Cleveland and the Detroit Pistons will face off in a Central Division battle at 7:30 p.m. ET Friday at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. Detroit should still be riding high after a victory, while the Cavaliers will be looking to get back in the win column.

Meanwhile, after constant struggles on the road, Detroit has finally found some success away from home. They took their contest against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday 112-104. The Pistons can attribute much of their success to power forward Jerami Grant, who had 35 points along with five rebounds. Grant had some trouble finding his footing against the Brooklyn Nets last Friday, so this was a step in the right direction. Grant’s points were the most he has had all year.

The Cavaliers are the favorite in this one, with an expected 5-point margin of victory. They might be worth taking a chance on against the spread as they are currently on a six-game streak of ATS wins.

Cleveland is now 7-5 while the Pistons sit at 2-8. A couple stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: Cleveland comes into the matchup boasting the fewest fouls per game in the league at 15.9. But Detroit enters the game with 19.9 fouls drawn per game on average, good for fourth best in the league. The ref’s whistle might dictate the flow of action in this one.
