The Bears sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 81-78 win over the Hawaii Warriors on Thursday. Kudos to the oddsmakers for accurately forecasting both the winner and the close margin.
Meanwhile, the ended up a good deal behind the Pacific Tigers when they played on Thursday, losing 85-74.
Hawaii-Hilo’s defeat took them down to 0-0 while Northern Colorado’s victory pulled them up to 2-0. We’ll see if Hawaii-Hilo can steal Northern Colorado’s luck or if Northern Colorado records another win instead.
