What to Know
The Western Carolina Catamounts are on the road again on Sunday and play against the East Carolina Pirates at 4 p.m. ET Nov. 14 at Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum. East Carolina should still be riding high after a win, while the Catamounts will be looking to regain their footing.
On Friday, Western Carolina lost to the Wake Forest Demon Deacons on the road by a decisive 87-75 margin. Travion McCray put forth a good effort for the losing side as he had 21 points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, while not quite a landslide, the contest between East Carolina and the Canisius Golden Griffins on Friday was still a pretty decisive one as East Carolina wrapped it up with an 83-71 victory at home.
Western Carolina’s loss took them down to 1-1 while East Carolina’s victory pulled them up to 2-0. A win for Western Carolina would reverse both their bad luck and East Carolina’s good luck. We’ll see if the Catamounts manage to pull off that tough task or if the Pirates keep their momentum going instead.
