Watch Colorado State vs. Air Force: How to live stream, TV channel, start time for Saturday’s NCAA Football game

Through 3 Quarters

The Air Force Falcons are flexing their muscles against the Colorado State Rams, showing why they were favored to win all along. After three quarters it’s looking more and more like Air Force’s high-powered offense is just too much for Colorado State as the Falcons lead 35-21. Air Force has come by their advantage honestly, as they have outgained Colorado State 440 yards to 254.

Air Force has been relying on RB Brad Roberts, who has rushed for two TDs and 86 yards on 20 carries, and WR DeAndre Hughes, who has picked up 107 yards on the ground on seven carries. Hughes had some trouble finding his footing against the Army West Point Black Knights last week, so this is a step in the right direction.

Air Force and the Rams have certainly played as if they’re avenging a loss, because they are. The Falcons just need to hang on one more quarter to get back on their feet.

What to Know

The Colorado State Rams are 1-4 against the Air Force Falcons since October of 2015, but they’ll have a chance to close the gap a little bit Saturday. Colorado State and Air Force will face off in a Mountain West battle at 7 p.m. ET at Canvas Stadium. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

The Rams came up short against the Wyoming Cowboys last week, falling 31-17. Despite the defeat, Colorado State got a solid performance out of WR Dante Wright, who snatched two receiving TDs.

Meanwhile, Air Force fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against the Army West Point Black Knights last week but wound up with a less-than-desirable result, falling 21-14. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Air Force was outplayed the rest of the way. QB Haaziq Daniels put forth a good effort for the losing side as he passed for one TD and 226 yards on 22 attempts in addition to picking up 54 yards on the ground. Daniels hadn’t helped his team much against the San Diego State Aztecs three weeks ago, so this was a nice turnaround for him.

The Rams are expected to lose this next one by 3. However, those who like betting on the underdog should be happy to hear that they are 2-0 against the spread when expected to lose.

The losses put Colorado State at 3-6 and the Falcons at a reciprocal 6-3. Two offensive stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: Colorado State is ninth worst in the nation in overall offensive touchdowns, with only 19 on the season. Air Force has experienced some struggles of their own as they are stumbling into the matchup with the 240th fewest passing yards per game in the nation, having accrued only 94 on average. It’s possible one of these Achilles’ heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
