Who’s Playing

Providence @ Wisconsin

Current Records: Providence 2-0; Wisconsin 2-0

What to Know

After a two-game homestand, the Providence Friars will be on the road. They will take on the Wisconsin Badgers at 9 p.m. ET on Monday at Kohl Center. These two teams are strolling into their game after big wins in their previous games.

The Friars made easy work of the Sacred Heart Pioneers last week and carried off a 92-64 win. Providence got double-digit scores from four players: guard Alyn Breed (15), center Nate Watson (14), guard Aljami Durham (12), and forward Noah Horchler (11).

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Wisconsin at home against the Green Bay Phoenix this past Friday as the squad secured a 72-34 victory. The margin was wide but not a surprise since the spread was 21.5 points in Wisconsin’s favor. Their forward Steven Crowl looked sharp as he had 18 points in addition to seven rebounds.

Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 2-0. Both Providence and Wisconsin have easy wins in recent memory. We’ll see which one’s ego takes a hit when they face off.
