Panama vs. El Salvador odds, picks, how to watch, Nov. 16 live stream: 2022 World Cup qualifier predictions

Outside of USA, Mexico and Canada, another team that could make a push to qualify for the 2022 World Cup out of Concacaf is Panama. On Tuesday, the Panamanians will try to pick up their fourth win in the final round of qualifying against an El Salvador side that has scored the fewest goals in the stage with three. One of those goals came in an 1-0 upset in their last meeting on October 7. You can see what happens in the rematch when you stream the match on Paramount+.

Kick-off for Panama vs. El Salvador is set for 8:05 p.m. ET from Estadio Rommel Fernandez Gutierrez in Panama. The latest Panama vs. El Salvador odds from Caesars Sportsbook list Panama as the -133 favorite (risk $133 to win $100) on the 90-minute money-line. El Salvador is the +360 underdog, while the over-under for total goals scored is 2.5. Tuesday’s match will be streamed live on Paramount+ with their must-have Premium plan.

CONCACAF World Cup qualifying picks for Panama vs. El Salvador

Before you tune in to Tuesday’s match, you need to see the Panama vs. El Salvador picks from SportsLine’s soccer insider Martin Green. After working in the sports betting industry for several years, Green became a professional sports writer and handicapper and has covered the game worldwide. Since then, his European soccer picks have been spot-on. Green has generated over $36,000 for $100 bettors since the 2017-18 season, and he has his finger on the pulse of the game all over the globe.

For Panama vs. El Salvador, Green is predicting Panama to win at -133 odds. The Panamanians shouldn’t need more motivation to win than to keep their chances to qualify alive, but revenge is sure to be on their mind at home. In their last match, Panama won the possession battle with 54 percent, but of its seven shots on goal, only two were on target. For all of El Salvador’s issues putting the ball in the back of the net, nine of its 10 shots were on frame.

Most of El Salvador’s final round matches heading into this week have been at home. The team’s road results have been discouraging to say the least, with a 3-0 loss to Canada and a 2-1 loss to Costa Rica. Panama has looked shaky on defense in recent outings, but shouldn’t be overly concerned with its opponent’s scoring potential on Tuesday.

“In its three home matches, Panama has drawn with Costa Rica and Mexico, and beaten the USMNT, which bodes well for the visit of El Salvador,” Green told SportsLine. “Panama really should win this game. It is playing with a lot more confidence than El Salvador and it has a strong head-to-head record against La Selecta.”
