Current Records: Wisconsin-Milwaukee 1-1; Florida 2-0
What to Know
The #24 Florida Gators will play host again and welcome the Wisconsin-Milwaukee Panthers to Stephen C. O’Connell Center, where tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET on Thursday. Florida is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
The Gators strolled past the Florida State Seminoles with points to spare on Sunday, taking the game 71-55. Four players on Florida scored in the double digits: forward Colin Castleton (15), forward Anthony Duruji (15), guard Brandon McKissic (12), and guard Myreon Jones (12).
Meanwhile, Wisconsin-Milwaukee was within striking distance but couldn’t close the gap this past Saturday as they fell 77-71 to the Eastern Kentucky Colonels.
Florida’s victory lifted them to 2-0 while Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s defeat dropped them down to 1-1. On Sunday Florida relied heavily on Colin Castleton, who posted a double-double on 16 boards and 15 points along with six blocks. It will be up to Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s defense to limit his damage.
