NFL odds, lines, picks, spreads, bets, predictions for Week 11, 2021: Model high on Titans, Steelers

Cam Newton’s return to the field was brief, but he made an impact in the Panthers’ win over the Cardinals last week. Newton is getting most of the first-team reps heading into the Week 11 NFL schedule, making his matchup with the Washington Football Team one to watch. Newton and the Panthers are three-point favorites according to the latest Week 11 NFL odds at Caesars Sportsbook. How should you evaluate one of the tightest NFL spreads of the week?

Newton scored two touchdowns in a specialty role last week and will now likely make his first start since Week 17 of the 2020 season. He’ll face a Washington team that just lost star pass-rusher Chase Young to a season-ending injury, but just pulled off a surprising upset of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Who should you back with your NFL bets? All of the Week 11 NFL lines are listed below, and SportsLine’s advanced computer model has all the NFL betting advice and predictions you need to make the best Week 11 NFL picks now.

The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up almost $7,500 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception six-plus years ago. The model enters Week 11 of the 2021 season on an incredible 128-89 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season.

The model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past five years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94 percent of CBS Sports Football Pick’em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

Now, it has turned its attention to the latest Week 11 NFL odds and locked in picks for every NFL matchup. Head here to see every pick.

Top Week 11 NFL predictions

One of the model’s strongest Week 11 NFL picks is that the Titans (-10.5) cover the spread against the Texans with points to spare. The Titans showed last week that they still can be a force without star running back Derrick Henry in a 23-21 win over the Saints.

SportsLine’s model projects another solid performance from Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who throws for almost 290 yards and two touchdowns on 33 pass attempts. It also projects a strong day for wide receiver A.J. Brown, who rebounds from last week’s one-catch performance with 92 yards on six receptions. Tennessee wins and covers the spread well over 60 percent of the time. The point total also goes over 44.5 well over 50 percent of the time.

Another one of its Week 11 NFL predictions: The Steelers (+4) cover against the Chargers. Both teams are coming off disappointing home results after the Steelers tied the winless Lions, while the Chargers fell to the Vikings. But Pittsburgh is the only team with a valid excuse for its result since Ben Roethlisberger was out after being placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list and the weather was less than ideal.

Roethlisberger should return for Week 11 and had six touchdowns with no interceptions over his last four games as the Steelers’ offense focused on running back Najee Harris. That spells bad news for the Chargers, who rank dead last in both rushing yards allowed and rushing yards per attempt allowed. SportsLine’s model has Harris running wild versus Los Angeles and posting nearly 125 yards from scrimmage. The Steelers cover the spread almost 60 percent of the time.

How to make Week 11 NFL picks

The model has also made the call on who wins and covers in every other game on the Week 11 NFL schedule, and it’s calling for a Super Bowl contender to go down hard. You can only get every pick for every game at SportsLine.

So which NFL picks can you make with confidence, and which Super Bowl contender goes down hard?
