Who’s Playing

Air Force @ Nevada

Current Records: Air Force 7-3; Nevada 7-3

What to Know

The Nevada Wolf Pack and the Air Force Falcons are set to square off in a Mountain West matchup at 9 p.m. ET Nov. 19 at Clarence Mackay Stadium. The Wolf Pack are out to keep their five-game home win streak alive.

Nevada was close but no cigar this past Saturday as they fell 23-21 to the San Diego State Aztecs. A silver lining for Nevada was the play of WR Romeo Doubs, who caught nine passes for two TDs and 127 yards. One of the most thrilling moments was Doubs’ 54-yard TD reception in the fourth quarter.

Meanwhile, Air Force was able to grind out a solid win over the Colorado State Rams this past Saturday, winning 35-21. Air Force’s RB Brad Roberts did his thing and rushed for two TDs and 151 yards on 32 carries.

This next matchup is expected to be close, with Nevada going off at just a 1.5-point favorite. If their 6-3 record against the spread is anything to go by, the prospects look good for bets placed on them.

The Wolf Pack and the Falcons now sit at an identical 7-3. A couple offensive stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: Nevada is 235th worst in the nation in rushing yards per game, with only 64.1 on average. Air Force has experienced some struggles of their own as they are stumbling into the game with the 240th fewest passing yards per game in the nation, having accrued only 96.7 on average. It’s possible one of these Achilles’ heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
