After a two-game homestand, the Towson Tigers will be on the road. They will take on the Pittsburgh Panthers at 6 p.m. ET on Friday at Petersen Events Center. The Tigers will be seeking to avenge the 63-59 loss they suffered the last time these two teams played Dec. 22 of 2017.
Everything went Towson’s way against the Hampton Pirates on Tuesday as they made off with a 78-54 win.
Meanwhile, Pitt bagged a 59-51 victory over the UNC-Wilmington Seahawks on Tuesday. The top scorers for Pitt were guard Femi Odukale (15 points) and forward John Hugley (13 points).
Their wins bumped Towson to 2-1 and Pitt to 1-2. We’ll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when the Tigers and the Panthers clash.
