A week ago Cam Newton was unemployed, but now he will be under major consideration for Week 11 NFL DFS lineups. Newton seems poised to resume his short-yardage role, at the very least, but he also appears to be trending towards getting the start on Sunday vs. Washington.

One of McClure’s top NFL DFS picks for Week 11 is Packers receiver Davante Adams at $8,400 on both DraftKings and FanDuel. Adams is coming off seven catches for 78 yards vs. the Seahawks in Week 10. It was the sixth time over his last eight games he’s posted at least 75 receiving yards.
One of those games he failed to reach the 75-yard threshold came when Jordan Love started, as Rodgers and Adams have a strong connection. Adams ranks third in the NFL in targets (98), receptions (65) and receiving yards (864) as he’s on pace for career-highs in both catches and yards. He is a must-start vs. the rival Vikings on Sunday as Adams torched Minnesota for over 200 yards and five touchdowns in two games last year.
Part of McClure’s optimal NFL DFS strategy also includes stacking Adams with running back AJ Dillon ($6,200 on DraftKings, $7,000 on FanDuel), who will get the start with Aaron Jones (knee) sidelined. Dillon took over for Jones midway through last week’s game and finished with 66 rushing yards, 62 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Dillon has received the bulk of touches once before in his young career and he thrived under the spotlight. Last season he got 21 carries against the Titans and responded with 124 yards and two scores. He should feast on Minnesota’s porous run defense that ranks 28th in rushing yards allowed. The Vikings have allowed five touchdowns to opposing running backs just over their last two games, as well as 329 total rushing yards.
