After averaging career highs in points (12.7 ppg), rebounds (5.7 rpg) and assists (3.6 apg) a season ago as a starter in Memphis, Anderson has moved into a bench role this year. With his minutes down, his numbers are expectedly down across the board.
However, Anderson has been shooting the ball well of late and that confidence, combined with more minutes because of a shortened Memphis rotation, creates some upside. Anderson is 14 for 24 in his last three games and the Timberwolves gave up 125 to the Grizzlies in an overtime loss earlier this month. Anderson had 15 points, nine rebounds and seven assists in that game.
