The Arizona Cardinals and the Seattle Seahawks will face off in an NFC West clash at 4:25 p.m. ET Nov. 21 at Lumen Field. The teams split their matchups last year, with Arizona winning the first 37-34 at home and Seattle taking the second 28-21.
The evening started off rough for the Cardinals this past Sunday, and it ended that way, too. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unfortunate 34-10 punch to the gut against the Carolina Panthers. Arizona was in a tough position by the half, with the score already sitting at 23 to nothing. Their only offensive touchdown came from RB James Conner.
Meanwhile, Seattle lost to the Green Bay Packers on the road by a decisive 17 to nothing margin. QB Russell Wilson had a memorable game, but not in the way you want to be remembered: besides failing to produce a single touchdown, he threw two interceptions with only 4.03 yards per passing attempt.
This next contest is expected to be close, with Arizona going off at just a 2.5-point favorite. Those burned by picking them against the spread this past Sunday might want to keep in mind that the team has not yet dropped back-to-back games against the spread this season.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the win. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
