Who’s Playing
Clemson @ West Virginia
Current Records: Clemson 4-1; West Virginia 3-1
What to Know
The West Virginia Mountaineers will take on the Clemson Tigers at 5 p.m. ET on Sunday at TD Arena.
The contest between the Mountaineers and the Marquette Golden Eagles on Friday was not particularly close, with West Virginia falling 82-71. Despite the loss, West Virginia had strong showings from forward Jalen Bridges, who had 11 points along with six boards, and guard Taz Sherman, who had 21 points and five assists.
Meanwhile, it was close but no cigar for Clemson as they fell 68-65 to the St. Bonaventure Bonnies on Friday. One thing holding Clemson back was the mediocre play of guard Al-Amir Dawes, who did not have his best game: he finished with only six points on 2-for-11 shooting in his 38 minutes on the court.
These two teams will surely be fighting tooth and nail to get back into the win column after losses this week. Check back to see which squad is able to work their way into the win column.
