Who’s Playing
New Mexico St. @ Indiana State
Current Records: New Mexico St. 3-1; Indiana State 3-2
What to Know
The Indiana State Sycamores will square off against the New Mexico St. Aggies at 8:30 p.m. ET Sunday at HTC Center. Both teams were wiped off the court in their previous games and will be looking to bounce back in a big way.
Things couldn’t have gone much worse for Indiana State as they lost 87-63 to the Oklahoma Sooners this past Friday. Guard Micah Thomas wasn’t much of a difference maker for the Sycamores; Thomas finished with 12 points on 4-for-11 shooting in his 36 minutes on the court.
Meanwhile, New Mexico St. found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unfortunate 85-58 punch to the gut against the Utah State Aggies this past Friday. Guard Teddy Allen (14 points) and Levar Williams (13 points) were the top scorers for New Mexico St.
Indiana State is expected to lose this next one by 7.5. Those burned by picking them against the spread this past Friday might want to keep in mind that the squad has not yet dropped back-to-back games against the spread this season.
Both teams will surely be fighting tooth and nail to get back into the win column after losses last week. Check back to see which squad is able to work their way into the win column.
