Texans vs. Titans odds, picks, line, how to watch, live stream: Model reveals 2021 Week 11 NFL predictions

Tyrod Taylor’s return after missing six weeks went about as poorly as possible in the Texans‘ Week 9 loss to the Dolphins. Taylor was sacked five times, threw three interceptions and failed to lead a single touchdown drive. He will hope for better success against the AFC’s top team in the Titans, who are leaning on Ryan Tannehill’s arm with Derrick Henry sidelined. Tannehill has beaten Houston three straight times with nine total touchdowns versus one interception over that stretch. In select markets, you can stream the game on Paramount+.

Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET from Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn. Caesars Sportsbook has Tennessee as 10 point favorites in the latest Texans vs. Titans odds, giving this one of the largest spreads of Week 11. The over-under for total points is set at 44.5. Week 11 NFL picks for Titans vs. Texans

Before you tune in to Sunday’s Texans vs. Titans game, you need to see the NFL picks from SportsLine’s advanced computer model. The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up almost $7,500 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception six-plus years ago. The model enters Week 11 of the 2021 season on an incredible 128-89 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season.

The model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past five years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94 percent of CBS Sports Football Pick’em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

For Titans vs. Texans, the model is backing Tennessee (-10) to cover with points to spare. The Texans are simply non-competitive outside of Houston and have been outscored 119-17 over their last four road games. Their turnover total (13) nearly matches their point total over this stretch as they’ve failed to find the endzone in any of them. Meanwhile, there have been three different quarters this season in which Tennessee has scored at least 17 points.

While the Titans’ rush offense has fallen off a bit with Henry injured, their rush defense is still one of the best in the game. They’ve held five straight opponents to under 100 rushing yards and don’t expect Houston’s 31st-ranked running game to break that streak. No single player in the Texans’ committee of running backs is projected to even reach 25 rushing yards. On the other hand, Tennessee’s running-back-by-committee is expected to be much more successful with the Titans projected to top 130 rushing yards as a team.

With yeoman’s work on offense combined with a defense that’s racked up nine sacks over the last two weeks, Tennessee is expected to easily handle Houston. The model forecasts the Titans to rack up at least three sacks of Taylor who isn’t quite as mobile since hurting his hamstring earlier this year. SportsLine’s model predicts Tennessee (-10) winning by 14 points and covering in almost 60 percent of simulations.
