What to Know
The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Alabama A&M Bulldogs at 5 p.m. ET. Given that these two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
The Hilltoppers ended up a good deal behind the Memphis Tigers when they played this past Friday, losing 74-62. Forward Jairus Hamilton had a pretty forgettable game, picking up four fouls and turning the ball over six times en route to a 5-for-16, 14-point finish.
Meanwhile, Alabama A&M took a serious blow against the UAB Blazers on Sunday, falling 86-41.
The losses bumped both teams down to an identical 1-3. WKU and Alabama A&M are both 0-2 after wins this year, but that symmetry won’t hold for long.
