NBA DFS: Malcolm Brogdon and top DraftKings, FanDuel daily Fantasy basketball picks for Nov. 24, 2021

NBA DFS: Malcolm Brogdon and top DraftKings, FanDuel daily Fantasy basketball picks for Nov. 24, 2021

When constructing effective NBA DFS lineups, matchups often tilt the scales when deciding between two evenly talented players. Portland’s CJ McCollum has hit 40 percent of his three-point attempts this season, and the Blazers play Sacramento on Wednesday night, which has allowed opponents to hit 37 percent of 3PAs over its last three games. Former Blazer Gary Trent Jr. is a more inexpensive option on sites like FanDuel and DraftKings and has hit 36.9 percent of his 3PAs. But on Wednesday, Toronto faces Memphis, the worst defensive side against three-pointers in the NBA.

Is it a better decision to save some cap and go with Trent in a better matchup when deciding between the two sharpshooters? Or is the wise move to go with the familiar star when considering your options in the Wednesday NBA DFS player pool? Before finalizing your NBA DFS picks for Wednesday, be sure to check out the NBA DFS advice, player rankings, stacks and top daily Fantasy basketball picks from SportsLine’s Mike McClure

McClure is a DFS professional with nearly $2 million in career winnings. He’s also a predictive data engineer at SportsLine who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every minute of every game 10,000 times, taking factors like matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account.

This allows him to find the best NBA DFS values and create optimal lineups that he shares only over at SportsLine. They’re a must-see for any NBA DFS player.

On Tuesday, McClure listed Portland guard Damian Lillard as part of his NBA DFS player pool on FanDuel and DraftKings. The result: Lillard scored 25 points and had five assists with three rebounds to return 40.25 points on DraftKings and 38.1 points on FanDuel. Anybody that included him in their lineups was well on the way to a profitable day.

Now, McClure has turned his attention to the Wednesday, November 24 NBA DFS slate and locked in his top daily Fantasy basketball picks. You can only see them by heading to SportsLine.

Top NBA DFS picks for Wednesday, November 24

One of McClure’s top NBA DFS picks for Wednesday is Pacers guard Malcolm Brogdon at $7,600 on DraftKings and $7,700 on FanDuel. Since missing five games between the end of October through early November, Brogdon has been remarkably consistent. He’s averaged 19.8 points per game over the eight games he’s been back, but he’s been a bit under that mark over his last three outings, when he finished with 16 points in each.

On Thursday, the Pacers host a Lakers team that hasn’t been able to separate itself from some sort of drama all season long. Moreover, the Lakers have allowed the most Fantasy points to opposing point guards. Over his last three games, Brogdon has made eight of his 16 three-point attempts and Los Angeles has been a bottom-third defense this season in defending shots from beyond the arc.

Another part of McClure’s optimal NBA DFS strategy for Wednesday includes Magic F/C Wendell Carter Jr. ($5,500 on DraftKings and $5,800 on FanDuel). Orlando has stumbled through a difficult November schedule, but Carter should have a productive night against Charlotte on Wednesday. The Magic typically play both Carter and center Mo Bamba together in their starting lineup, and the Hornets have given up the third-most Fantasy points to both positions this season.

The Magic’s offense has sputtered a bit without point guard Cole Anthony in the lineup for the past few games, and he will sit again on Wednesday. Anthony is a volume scorer, however, and demands a lot of looks at the basket to put up the numbers he has. With him out of action for another game, Carter should continue to shoot more of the pick-and-pop jumpers he’s taken, and end the night with a sneaky-strong daily Fantasy performance.
