NFL odds, lines, picks, spreads, best bets, predictions for Week 12, 2021: Model high on Steelers, Patriots

The AFC playoff picture has changed in the last month, and no game on the Week 12 NFL schedule illustrates that like Patriots vs. Titans. New England, after a slow start, is a seven-point favorite in the latest Week 12 NFL odds from Caesars Sportsbook, having turned a corner with a dominant defense and efficient quarterback play from Mac Jones. The Titans, meanwhile, have questions to answer after losing to the Texans last week.

In the NFC, the Rams and Packers meet in a matchup of two early-season powers trying to gut through tough stretches. This game opened with the narrowest of Week 12 NFL spreads at Packers -1, but the line has since moved to Green Bay +1. All of the Week 12 NFL lines are listed below, and SportsLine’s advanced computer model has all the NFL betting advice and predictions you need to make the best Week 12 NFL picks now.

The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up almost $7,300 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception six-plus years ago. The model enters Week 12 of the 2021 season on an incredible 130-91 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season.

The model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past five years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94 percent of CBS Sports Football Pick’em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

Now, it has turned its attention to the latest Week 12 NFL odds and locked in picks for every NFL matchup. Head here to see every pick.

Top Week 12 NFL predictions

One of the model’s strongest Week 12 NFL picks is that the Steelers (+4.5) cover the spread against the Bengals. Pittsburgh got quarterback Ben Roethlisberger back and came up just short against the Chargers last week, but the model likes their chances to cover the spread in Week 12. Cincinnati is coming off a 32-13 win over the Raiders and is neck-and-neck with the Ravens and Steelers in an AFC North race that could go to the end of the season.

The Steelers should benefit by having Roethlisberger back for a full week of practice after missing last week with COVID-19. The model projects Roethlisberger to go toe-to-toe with Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, with each projected for 240 yards through the air on Sunday. In simulations from SportsLine’s model, Pittsburgh covers the spread well over 50 percent of the time. The Steelers also win straight-up in well over 40 percent of simulations, making them a candidate on the money line.

Another one of its Week 12 NFL predictions: The Patriots (-7) cover against the Titans. Despite being on a six-game winning streak, Tennessee had been trending in the wrong direction ever since it lost Derrick Henry in Week 8. The bottom completely fell out last week against Houston, as the Titans made the Texans look like Super Bowl contenders instead of a team on an eight-game losing streak.

The Titans turned the ball over five times, which ties for the most by any team in any game this season. Now, Tennessee must go on the road to face a team with a plus-nine turnover differential during its five-game winning streak. New England covers well over 50 percent of the time, while the model also backs the Over (44.5).

How to make Week 12 NFL picks

The model has also made the call on who wins and covers in every other game on the Week 12 NFL schedule, and it’s calling for a Super Bowl contender to go down hard. You can only get every pick for every game at SportsLine.

So which NFL picks can you make with confidence, and which Super Bowl contender goes down hard?
