The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cincinnati Bengals are set to square off in an AFC North matchup at 1 p.m. ET Nov. 28 at Paul Brown Stadium. Cincinnati will be strutting in after a victory while the Steelers will be stumbling in from a defeat.
Pittsburgh was first on the board but had to settle for second at the end of their contest against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. Pittsburgh didn’t finish too far behind, but the squad still lost 41-37 to Los Angeles. A silver lining for Pittsburgh was the play of QB Ben Roethlisberger, who passed for three TDs and 273 yards on 44 attempts. Roethlisberger ended up with a passer rating of 138.30.
Special teams collected 13 points for the Steelers. K Chris Boswell delivered a perfect 3-for-3 game. This makes it three perfect games in a row for him.
Meanwhile, the Bengals strolled past the Las Vegas Raiders with points to spare on Sunday, taking the game 32-13. It was another big night for Cincinnati’s RB Joe Mixon, who rushed for two TDs and 123 yards on 30 carries.
Pittsburgh’s loss took them down to 5-4-1 while Cincinnati’s win pulled them up to 6-4. One last thing to keep an eye out for: the Steelers hit the left side of the field hard in their last matchup, throwing toward the left sideline for 15 yards on 2.14 yards per attempt. This is exactly where Cincinnati’s defense has most struggled to contain the passing attack, however; they have allowed 27 passing yards on this side of the field out of a total 2,697 passing yards allowed.
