Meanwhile, St. John’s beat the New Jersey Tech Highlanders 77-68 on Saturday. The Red Storm got double-digit scores from four players: guard Posh Alexander (16), center Joel Soriano (16), guard Julian Champagnie (14), and guard Montez Mathis (10). This also makes it three games in a row in which Julian Champagnie has had at least three steals.
