T.J. Watt joined NFL royalty during the Pittsburgh Steelers‘ Week 13 home game against the Baltimore Ravens. With his first-quarter sack of Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, Watt joined Hall of Fame pass-rusher Reggie White as the only players in NFL history with at least 13 sacks in four consecutive seasons.

Watt, who was activated off of the team’s reserve/COVID-19 list on Saturday, entered Sunday’s game with 12.5 sacks in nine game this season. The former first-round pick entered Sunday’s game with 62 sacks in 71 career regular-season games. Watt recorded a league-high 15 sacks last season en route to his second All-Pro nod in as many years.

Known as the “Minister of Defense” during his playing days, White had at least 13 sacks each season from 1985-88 and again from 1990-93. A dominant player for the Eagles during the first half of his career, White changed NFL free agency by signing with the Packers during the 1993 offseason. Three years after White’s arrival, the Packers won the franchise’s first Super Bowl in 29 years three years. White recorded three sacks during the second half of Green Bay’s 35-21 win over New England in Super Bowl XXXI.

Watt is trying to help the Steelers break out of their two-game losing streak. At 5-5-1, the Steelers are currently behind the Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC North division standings.
