Who’s Playing
Idaho State @ California
Current Records: Idaho State 1-7; California 4-5
What to Know
The Idaho State Bengals have enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they must head out on the road. They will take on the California Golden Bears at 10 p.m. ET on Wednesday at Haas Pavilion. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they’ll have plenty of motivation to get the ‘W.’
It was close but no cigar for the Bengals as they fell 73-70 to the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks on Saturday.
Meanwhile, California came up short against the Utah Utes on Sunday, falling 66-58. Guard Jordan Shepherd (14 points), guard Makale Foreman (13 points), and forward Grant Anticevich (12 points) were the top scorers for the Golden Bears.
Idaho State have to know they’ll be fighting an uphill battle given the 13.50 point spread they are up against. Now might not be the best time to take Idaho State against the spread since they’ve let down bettors for the past seven consecutive games.
The losses put Idaho State at 1-7 and California at 4-5. The Bengals are 0-6 after losses this year, California 2-2.
