Who’s Playing
New Orleans @ Utah State
Current Records: New Orleans 3-6; Utah State 6-3
What to Know
The New Orleans Privateers are on the road again Saturday and play against the Utah State Aggies at 9 p.m. ET Dec. 11 at Dee Glen Smith Spectrum. The Privateers will be seeking to avenge the 76-66 loss they suffered the last time these two teams played Dec. 19 of 2016.
New Orleans ended up a good deal behind the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns when they played last week, losing 80-67.
Meanwhile, Utah State received a tough blow on Wednesday as they fell 82-71 to the Brigham Young Cougars. The losing side was boosted by forward Justin Bean, who had 20 points in addition to seven rebounds.
New Orleans is the clear underdog, so they’re hoping it’s the size of the fight that determines this one. They have failed bettors playing the spread in their past two games, so buyers beware.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We’ll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
