Who’s Playing
Radford @ George Washington
Current Records: Radford 4-6; George Washington 3-8
What to Know
The Radford Highlanders’ road trip will continue as they head to Charles E. Smith Center at 7 p.m. ET on Monday to face off against the George Washington Colonials. George Washington should still be feeling good after a victory, while the Highlanders will be looking to right the ship.
Radford came up short against the James Madison Dukes this past Saturday, falling 79-70.
Meanwhile, the Colonials had enough points to win and then some against the Coppin State Eagles this past Wednesday, taking their game 75-62. Among those leading the charge for George Washington was guard Joe Bamisile, who posted a double-double on 25 points and ten boards. Bamisile’s performance made up for a slower contest against the Charlotte 49ers last week.
Radford is now 4-6 while George Washington sits at 3-8. A couple offensive stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: The Highlanders are stumbling into the matchup with the 22nd fewest points per game in college basketball, having accrued only 62.7 on average. The Colonials have experienced some struggles of their own as they are 48th worst in college basketball in points per game, with only 64.9 on average. It’s possible one of these Achilles’ heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
