Bills-Patriots highlight entertaining early slate
Christmas may be over, but the NFL has gifted fans with some late presents with the games that kick off at 1 p.m. ET. Who will win the AFC East? Most likely the winner of the Bills at Patriots game. What about the AFC North? Well, that division is a little more complicated, but the winner of Ravens-Bengals would enter the final two weeks of the regular season with at least a half game lead on the competition.
Elsewhere, the Rams visit the Vikings in a crucial NFC showdown, the Eagles host the Giants with a chance to climb into the conference’s seventh seed, and the Buccaneers travel to Carolina with hopes of bouncing back in a big way after being shut out by the Saints on “Sunday Night Football.”
A wide-open playoff picture should start to clear up Sunday, and the early slate of games will go a long way towards determining who will be playing into mid-January.
