What to Know
The San Jose State Spartans haven’t won a matchup against the UNLV Rebels since Feb. 11 of 2017, but they’ll be looking to end the drought on Saturday. The Spartans will hit the road for the second straight game as they head to Thomas & Mack Center at 3 p.m. ET.
SJSU received a tough blow on Wednesday as they fell 84-69 to the Wyoming Cowboys. Forward Trey Anderson had a pretty forgettable game, finishing with 13 points on 5-for-10 shooting in his 31 minutes on the court.
Meanwhile, UNLV came up short against the Air Force Falcons on Thursday, falling 69-62. Guard Bryce Hamilton did his best for the Rebels, finishing with 32 points (a whopping 52% of their total) along with seven rebounds.
Both teams will surely be fighting tooth and nail to get back into the win column after losses this week. We’ll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
