What to Know

The Nevada Wolf Pack haven’t won a contest against the Utah State Aggies since Jan. 2 of 2019, but they’ll be looking to end the drought this past Saturday. The Wolf Pack and Utah State will face off in a Mountain West battle at 10 p.m. ET at Lawlor Events Center. The Aggies should still be riding high after a victory, while Nevada will be looking to regain their footing.

The game between Nevada and the Colorado State Rams last Tuesday was not a total blowout, but with Nevada falling 77-66 on the road, it was darn close to turning into one. Guard Desmond Cambridge Jr. put forth a good effort for the losing side as he had 23 points in addition to five boards.

Meanwhile, Utah State had enough points to win and then some against the San Diego State Aztecs this past Wednesday, taking their matchup 75-57. Guard Steven Ashworth and forward Justin Bean were among the main playmakers for Utah State as the former shot 5-for-10 from beyond the arc and finished with 17 points and five dimes and the latter posted a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds along with five assists.

Barring any buzzer beaters, the Wolf Pack are expected to win a tight contest. But bettors beware: they are only 4-8 against the spread when favored.
