What to Know
The Niagara Purple Eagles haven’t won a game against the St. Peter’s Peacocks since Feb. 27 of 2020, but they’ll be looking to end the drought on Sunday. The Purple Eagles will hit the road for the fifth straight game as they head to Yanitelli Center at 2 p.m. ET. St. Peter’s will be strutting in after a victory while Niagara will be stumbling in from a defeat.
Niagara lost a heartbreaker to the Rider Broncs when they met in January, and they left with a heavy heart again on Friday. Niagara fell just short of Rider by a score of 70-68.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn’t a dominant performance, the Peacocks beat the Monmouth Hawks 70-65 on Friday.
The Purple Eagles are now 12-14 while St. Peter’s sits at 13-11. St. Peter’s is 5-7 after wins this year, and Niagara is 7-6 after losses.
