Meanwhile, Philadelphia beat the Dallas Mavericks 111-101 this past Friday. Philadelphia’s success was spearheaded by the efforts of point guard James Harden, who posted a double-double on 24 points and 12 assists along with seven rebounds, and center Joel Embiid, who had 32 points along with eight boards and five steals. The contest made it Embiid’s fourth in a row with at least 32 points.

The Raptors are now 39-31 while the 76ers sit at 43-26. Two stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: Toronto comes into the matchup boasting the third most steals per game in the league at 8.99. But Philadelphia ranks first in the league when it comes to steals given up per game, with only 6.5 on average. Ball control might end up being a major factor in this one.
